Start Struck at DIsneyland and Social Media

Hello my dears!

This post comes to you on a different note. It has nothing to do with teaching but that is ok! I am very excited to share with you all about my encounters and adventures this past Sunday at Disneyland. My boyfriend, Nick, and I have had Disneyland passes for 5 years (I think? I don't know I lost count!). Our favorite thing to do on Sundays is to relax and take a stroll around the happiest place on earth. One of my favorite makeup artist Kandee Johnson happened to post to her Instagram that she was at Disneyland. Well, I kept an eye out for her that day and sure enough I spotted her in line buying a churro! What a sweet and fabulous lady!

It was a very fun day meeting her, riding some rides, and I even got to pet the Disney security dog. He was a sweet black lab.

Hello and welcome!

Pure love, right?

For the past few months I have had the luxury of being on vacation. Spring 2013 semester ended in mid-May and ever since then I have been at home, spending time with my family, going out dancing, etc. Tomorrow is August 1st and I am so excited that it is finally August! That means it is my favorite time of the year (other than holidays, of course!), back to school time! I was in Wal-Mart and Big Lots the other day and was able snag some school supplies for dirt cheap. What teacher does not like the smell of crayons and post it notes?
