A lot has changed around here. There have been many fabulous things happen to me and some that are not so great. Since I last posted I received my multiple subject teaching credential. This fills my heart with so much joy! I overcame a lot of obstacles to get to this point in my educational career. Those obstacles should be another blog post in itself ;) Before I finished my program I had all these plans made out. I was going to apply to substitute teach, network, and eventually land my own classroom. Well, let me tell you that it is not that easy. Currently, I am feeling the wrath of reality in the educational world. Things do not happen as we would like. Let me summarize it for you; I have applied to sub in two districts but I am currently waiting for them to okay me for employment. When they will in fact get to my application is a mystery to both you and I.
In the meantime, I am at home trying to do my best to stay productive and be happy with where I am. I will admit that at times I become very frustrated. I have pretty much worked my whole adult life up until now.
Today's moment of happiness consisted of lunch with my boyfriend and a fresh avocado.
